Cup’D Up Outdoors Sporting Goods Store, recently opened at 2583 N. Central Avenue (just north of the Independence County Fairgrounds on Highway 69), Batesville, AR. is ready, set to go! They are ready for holiday shoppers for all those special people for Christmas gifts or gift certificates. Their own manufactured Duck Callers a specialty all their own, what a gift for that special person!
Batesville’s newest sports paradise was conceived a few years ago when friends/hunting buddies Jarrod Krepps and Joey Parks decided they could build a better duck caller than the ones they used. Their calls got to be so popular that in June of 2012 they opened their own business, Cup’d Up Calls, in a 12×32′ Bald Eagle Barn at the site of Batesville’s old Skateworld. With a little time and a healthy business following, they are now located in a 4,000 sq. ft. building, full-line sporting goods store, Cup’D Up Outdoors.
In addition to their signature duck calls, the new store will carry a full line of name brand hunting and casual outdoors clothing, fishing gear and other accessories. Clothing brands include Drake, Sitka, Southern Marsh, Quake Life, Guy Harvey and Browning. According to co-owner Joey Parks, “We have anything hunting you would ever want, like wildlife feeders, polarized sunglasses by Costa, guns by Browning, Beretta, Sig Sauer, Kimber and Sako.” The fishing line consists of Denali rods, Shimano, Abu Garcia, Yeti coolers, etc.
