When it’s cold outside, a piping hot cup of savory, healthful herbal tea is just what the doctor ordered! In this 2-hour hands-on workshop, participants will be introduced to several different varieties of native herbal or medicinal teas.   The focus of this workshop will include instruction and discussion of the medicinal properties of a selection of native Arkansas herbal teas. These may include: Sassafras Tea, Rosehip Tea, Passionflower Leaf Tea, Mullein Tea, or Catnip Tea. Each participant will receive a booklet listing local medicinals that can be wild harvested in Arkansas, where and when to harvest them, as well as how to brew them properly. You are more than welcome to bring your favorite teacup with you. This will be a perfect opportunity to get to know others, and share your favorite stories of past tea parties.
