Sternwheelers, Snipers, and Shovels Exhibit at Jacksonport State Park Courthouse open for viewing today, March 6th!!!
On March 6, 2015, Jacksonport State Park will host an exciting new program in its courthouse. The event will feature unique aspects of Jackson County history, each driven by the power of steam engines. Through this tapestry will be woven other stories which pay homage not only to the park’s newest exhibit, but also the Sesquicentennial and Arkansas Archaeology Month.
The Grand Opening Event has been postponed until April due to the weather and hazardous road conditions in the area. The exact date will be announced soon. The exhibit is now open to the public. We are sorry for the delay, but we will get there!!!
