You don’t want to miss out on this one! It is the Second Love Bites Celebration Fundraiser!  Single or with a sweetheart, you are guaranteed to have a great time, and good food!

 

Old Independence Regional Museum Thursday Feb. 11th Valentine’s Day Fundraiser – Bring your sweetheart to Old Independence Regional Museum Thursday, February 11th at 6:30 p.m. for a Valentine’s Day Fundraiser. No Sweetheart? No problem! Come celebrate Singles Awareness Day with “Love Bites.” The event will feature the best bite sized sweet and savory treats from local cooks. Treats range from Blueberry-Cream Cheese Danish to Roasted Sweet Peppers in Phyllo Shells. Guests will be able to vote for their favorite treat. The top three contestants, as voted by visitors, will receive $200, $100, and $50 respectively, courtesy of First Community Bank.

A $20 admission includes a sample of each bite, 10 voting tickets, and a take home box.  A $10 admission includes samples of each bite and 5 voting tickets. Additional voting tickets will be $1 each.   To-go boxes can also be purchased separately for $10.

Old Independence serves a 12-county area:  Baxter, Cleburne, Fulton, Independence, Izard, Jackson, Marion, Poinsett, Sharp, Stone, White, and Woodruff.  Parts of these present-day counties comprised the original Independence County in 1820s Arkansas territory.
