Time to cut a rug when the Arkansas Country Dance Society & The Ozark Folk Center State Park host the annual Folk Dance Days Friday September 5th through the 7th. The event features three days of workshops for people of all ages that focus on traditional dance styles such as clogging, jig dancing, and contra dance.

Featured dance callers and instructors include; Dance Caller- Janine Smith, Clogging Instructors- Trevor DeWitt & Chip Summey, Traditional Dance and Jig Instructors- Aubrey Atwater, Elwood Donnelly and Steve Green. Feature bands for the dances and nightly performances will be the The Old 78’s and Aubrey Atwater and Elwood Donnelly.
