Are you ready to end the blahs? We have a fun evening planned to kick off the first stroll of the New Year! Thursday, March 5th, The Gallery will have their very own Mardi Gras. Vote for your favorite dreadlocks canvas, Photos Through My Cameras Eye, R.J. Reynolds. And yes we have it, Art! straight from the artists, there on the square, across from St Louis Cathedral. Costume contest, so come dressed for a parade!
There will be local artists’ work on display and for sale. Unusual things to see – Dreadlocks of New Orleans and Angels from the Tombs display!
Wear the carnival colors! Purple, green gold! Don’t forget your masks! Famous Zapp’s Voodoo Potato Chips made right there in New Orleans, come enjoy a sample! There will be King Cupcakes, complete with the baby! And what would Mardi Gras be without BEADS RIGHT and we have them! Be here where the fun begins at 6:00-8:00 pm.
