Pack your clubs and plan a spring escape to Cherokee Village, where the 7th Annual Ozark Gateway Golf Tournament brings together scenic Ozark landscapes, relaxed competition, and genuine small-town hospitality. Held at the Cherokee Village South Course, this four-person scramble welcomes golfers of all skill levels, making it just as enjoyable for casual players as it is for seasoned competitors.
The day begins with registration at 8 a.m. and a 9 a.m. shotgun start, followed by an afternoon of awards around 3 p.m.—leaving plenty of time to soak in the rolling hills and fresh Ozark air. The $300 team entry fee includes tournament play, breakfast pastries, lunch, and access to a full lineup of on-course contests.
The tournament also features three competitive flights with prizes awarded to top teams, tee box assignments based on age groups for fair play, and one mulligan per player. A limited number of golf carts will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, so early registration is encouraged.
Hosted by the Ozark Gateway Tourist Council, the event supports tourism across the region while offering visitors the perfect reason to turn a day on the course into a full Ozarks getaway. From nearby rivers and scenic trails to charming small towns and local attractions, this tournament is more than just a round of golf—it’s a chance to experience the beauty, character, and welcoming spirit that make the Ozark Gateway region a destination worth exploring.
