    Hardy Ghost Tour

    Four ghost tours will crawl down Main Street this year, starting at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 22; Friday, October 23; Thursday, October 29; and Friday, October 30. The tour will showcase local railroad deaths, murders, and some of the odder happenings in Hardy’s history during a walk down Main Street’s two blocks. Gather at Dr. Thompson Park, on the corner of Johnson & Main St. $10 per person, 18+ only. Tours limited to 30 people. Reservations required. Reservation form to be published nearer tour dates. Tours benefit the Hardy History Association.

  • Hardy Main St. Trick or Treat, Costume Contest & Party

    4:00-6:00 p.m.: Trick or treat on Main St. and get firetruck tours at the fire house (203 Church St.) 6:00 p.m.:  Costume Contest for children and adults (203 Church St.). Categories: 5 months-4 years 5-8 boy, 5-8 girl 9-13 boy, 9-13 girl 14-17 female, 14-17 male 18 & up male 18 & up female Best siblings Best family Best couple 6:00-9:00 p.m.: Old-fashioned, city-wide trick or treat. Leave your porch lights on to indicate that you are giving out candy.
