The Ozark Gateway region is more than a name—it’s a collaborative tourism initiative connecting communities across north central Arkansas to promote the natural beauty, heritage, music, rivers, trails, and small-town experiences that define the Ozarks. By working together, counties and towns within the Ozark Gateway are strengthening regional tourism, encouraging longer stays, and showcasing the unique character that makes this part of Arkansas so special.

This year’s Ozark Gateway Regional Meeting brings that mission into focus with an evening dedicated to growth, partnership, and opportunity. The event will take place March 19 at The Ozark Folk Center Skillet Restaurant at 5:30 and will  feature keynote speaker Shea Lewis, Secretary of the Arkansas Department of Parks, Heritage & Tourism.

The Ozark Gateway Team is honored to have Secretary Lewis will share insights on the future of tourism in Arkansas and explain how regional collaboration continues to drive visitors to communities across the Ozarks.  His understanding into the future of tourism in Arkansas will be valuable for community leaders, business owners, elected officials, and anyone passionate about growing our region.

The evening will take place at the Skillet Restaurant at the Ozark Folk Center, beginning at 5:30 PM. Known for its authentic Ozark atmosphere, mountain music heritage, and welcoming setting, the location perfectly reflects the spirit of the region.

Events like this highlight how the Ozark Gateway initiative is bringing communities together, strengthening tourism, and inviting travelers to explore everything from scenic rivers and hiking trails to folk music, festivals, and historic town squares. The Ozarks are open for discovery—and the Ozark Gateway is helping lead the way.

Tickets are $40 per person. RSVP by March 10 to crdrew@sbcglobal.net. Or you can reserve tickets by following the links below:
